RedView is was a native RedGifs app for Android

You can download the final version of the app here which should work until the API is permanently closed. You can also copy your favorited gifs and followed users to the clipboard via Account -> Settings -> Copy to clipboard

RedGIFs recently contacted me stating that their direct file access API will be shut down within 30 days and that the only way to view their content going forward will be through embedded iframes. I do not wish for RedView to merely be a shell of an app and will not be implementing this approach as it would deliver a sub-standard app experience IMHO.

The app has completely stopped working, my apologies for the abrupt ending. I had promising talks with RedGIFs for getting special API access, but in the end they went a different direction.

Thank you to everyone who ever downloaded the app, gave me feedback or ideas and reported any bugs, it really kept the project going.
